A friend of mine wants to build the yellow Madmax Interceptor, he's isn't sure which way to go. Either find an Australian Falcon XB GT sedan (the way I'm kinda thinking), or modify an American car to look like it, thoughts are that it vaguely resembles a 4dr Mav, wont be exact, and will be alot of time.
Thoughts, opinions, anyone know of any Australian Falcon slaying around?

I don't think it would look right unless the front end is proper.

The Aussie Falcon actually is closer to a Torino 4 door. In profile it is a bit like the 70-71, but the angle shot looks more like 72-73.

I have a friend who is a mustang and ford nut.... but he has nothing but contempt (as do some here) for my quad door comet... the thought of having him see a stang parted out to create that car....well I am still laughing my head off...

Thanks for the responses. I was thinking the way OLD GOOSE was. The black two-door Interceptor reminds me of a Torino, but the guy is thinking that car has been done more often, he wants to be somewhat different. Anyhow, thanks again.

Just paint up a 4 door Nova, 80% of the people would never know.

There is a guy in the Seattle, Wa area. His name is Jeff. He has quite a few Falcon X body cars that he sells. He has them shipped into the country. I'll see if I can post some pictures I have. He also does the Madmax version of the car...
