What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    Today- got a 'new' rearend for the car - Exploder 8.8, 3.73 limited slip and an 80mm mass air flow sensor for it! :yahoo:

    I replaced my leaky radiator cap with a Stant SP-12 14lb nos made in USA... it has the pressure release lever. Life is good.

    Getting sooo close to finishing my car. Getting exhaust put on this week. Got all of the lights working. Still having trouble geting the heater fan to work and also the wiper motor won't work. Cant wait to ride!! Been working on this thing for 4 years now.

    Removed the door handles and locks, went to NPD and bought new show chrome door handles to reinstall after paint.... $66 bucks for the pair........

    Well I did this yesterday...does it still count? lol

    Pulled the windshield and back glass out of the parts car.
    Took the doors off.
    Took the steering box off.
    Got the dash off too.
    Plus a few small parts.
    All that is left is the shell.
    Shell is for sale.....1/4 panels, rockers, roof, rear, Truck and floor pans, Floor pan on drivers side has 2? small holes at the bend in the corner, frame rails.......

    I hope I figured this out. First photo is of the 72 I had in 1975. These are all of the pictures that I have so far. Ill try to take more today.

    picked up dual exhaust from a mustang gt 350
    ordered dynomat
    paid for carpet and labor to install dynomat and carpet also paid my upholstery guy to build me a custom enclosure for the trunk to help clean up the whole look and hide the wires

    So you picked up a "Real" exhaust from a GT350, the ones that came out infront of the rear tire????????????????????????If it is in good condition it is worth a fair chunk of change! How about some pictures?????

    they came off an 85 gt350
    I dont know how valueable they might be but they sounded great on that car so Im hoping theyll sound good on my comet without the cats of course.
    me and my friend took them off his car I gave him $20 and an old cam I picked up for free

    Oh, I thought maybe you were talking about a 66 Mustang GT350..........slight difference, I had no idea they made an 85 GT350. I had the first year of the fuel injected 5.0's in 86, a Mercury Capri with 5spd.
