Essex is a wholesale outlet. Mostly clothes, furniture and bedding but you never know what else they'll have. There's a bigger one than ours in the Rivergate area of Nashville.

As far as the wheels, they are no doubt 5-4.5" so I'm keepimg them. The rotor has to be wrong for my Mustang. Some so of metric pattern I guess. I've had them too long to return for being boxed wrong.

I've got side tracked on my projects. Got back into wood working but I'm putting that stuff up and restarting this soon. I gotta get motivated so I'm planning on driving it a little sunday.

I've had back problems the past month but I managed to put my back seat in (temporary) today. Going to look at a Mustang this weekend....a turn key car. Just to enjoy till I get my projects going.

Finally motivated on the Maverick again. I stalled once I got it road worthy because I liked driving it, but since fall/winter are upon us, I figured it's a good time to start on some of the body work...mainly individual panels. I'll do the roof and quarters later.

I had a storage building built so that allowed me to clear all of the lawn and outdoor stuff out of my garage which gives me alot more room to work.

The plan is clear out everything that was behind my Maverick in the garage and move it back as far as possible. I got that done this weekend.

Now this creates space where the garage door is that I plan to divide off with tarps or plastic sheeting to make a small room of sorts. I think the area is around 9'x12'. It's the area where my motorcycle is parked in this pic.

I'm then going start by hanging a light, run an air hose and set up my work stands. It will be a divided area to start stripping and priming panels. It will keep the dust out of the rest of the garage I hope. I'll put an outward blowing fan to help blow dust and fumes out the door opening.

Once I get this set up (this week I hope), I'm going to start removing panels from the Maverick starting with the rear valance and the trunk. Then fenders, hood and doors. Strip them, do the bodywork and primer them and lastly spray the jambs.

This project has been a slow go, but I plan to finish it in 2013....my 30 year anniversay of owning the heap.

Buy another set of rotors and slip the incorrect ones in those boxes. Then return them defective/boxed wrong. Ask for your money back as you had to buy them elsewhere to get correct ones. ( I sold auto parts for 16 years....there's always a way...)

You probably have mentioned it before but what is the tire and rim size on the front of the Mav?

    Yes I've thought about this.

I think they are 15"x4.5". Immediate plans are to keep them on the car because I think they fit and fit the look perfectly, but I may throw a set of my Cragars on it to see how they look.

    That was good thinking

That is my plan also - amazing how much room a wheelbarrow takes up

I picked up 2 9x7 tarps at Harbor Freight for $4.99 each and 9 screw in hooks for $2.99 and here's my "dust room" I guess you could call it. Plan to work when weather cooperates with the door up or half way down with a fan. It should keep most of the debris out of the garage.

The tarps will be lowered a tad with pieces of scrap chain to meet the floor. I need to hang 2 florecent light assemblies next.

I like it! Looks like you are set up well there.

Like the fastback Mustang you have in the garage too.

I guess it depends on how you look at it. They already have his money from the first set that are boxed wrong plus the store will get their money back when they return them to their warehouse and the warehouse gets their money back when returned to the manufacturer who boxed them wrong in the first place.

Still getting my garage in order. Floor jack took a dump and had to get a new one. Picked up a cheap tool cart so I wouldn't have to run all over the place to get tools. I think I'm finally ready to start again.

Just thinking, since I put the Mustang project on hold, I might borrow some of the frt end rebuild kit for the Maverick. It would be a good time to replace the control arms when the fenders are off.

I can't catch a break. Flu and sinus infection keeping me away from working on the car but I did go ahead and bite the bullet on a bead roller and a stretch/shrinker. I need to make a lower quarter for the rt side and figured while I had this rust free quarter for the lt side, it would be a good time to make one for the other side.
