And ran an 11.990@113.32 on my first run leaving easy and letting out at about the 1000ft mark. My second run I had some issues blew out a header gasket(flange warped) left a little harder but due to the exhaust gasket leak it only ran 11.980@117.06 and I ran out of gear at just past the 1000ft and was on the rev limiter through the traps. But for the first time ever running this car I say I did pretty good. Also found out my car weighs 2695 and 2880 with me in it!
Video from my friend truck with thier stupid commentary (WARNING THERE IS SOME LANGUAGE) I think they were more excited then me!

that's awesome, what gear do you have/tall of tires?
thought you would have got more out of it though..maybe next time! i can't remember what size turbo you have either..was it a junkyard one or a new one.

Not bad..... Get a set of Remflex header gaskets, they should take care of that warped flange problem.....

Good times, you pulled away quick from that camera. As for the headers, I use Hi-Temp RTV no gaskets and never a problem.

    Thanks it defiantly fun!
    Thanks!
I have a 3.80 gear with 255/60/15's which I think is about 26". I knew going I was probably going to run out of gear. I got the turbo new from ebay, it's a magnum performance t70. There's defiantly more in it, I drove it a lot harder the second run but the power wasn't there do to the header leak. Having a sealed exhaust on a turbo car is very important!
Thanks, I had a gasket similar to those but I guess taking them off about 7 times started a small leak.....it held the small leak at 6 psi, but going to ten made a big leak:(

Thanks, but that truck was pretty slow haha. I don't know if the rtv will hold the added pressure of the turbo. I was gonna pull it off and weld the warped area and grind it flat maybe later today or after work.

Leaving easy and have that slow of a 60', and then going 98mph in the 1/8? Man, that will be fast when you shave the 60' down some! 98 mph is closer to a 6 second 1/8 mile pass, then get it to where you don't run out of gear and you'll really be flying! Keep us posted. Congrats!!!

I have to agree. 60's in the 2.20's. There's a lot left in there with just getting some traction. At least .5 and probably more.:thumbs2:

Wow! Really? I knew I was giving up a lot with my 60ft but didn't think that much! Next time I may try boost launching it I'd like to at least hit 11.7 without changing anything other then tires
Thanks, it is very fun on the street.

Awesome that's what I like to hear. The car did not spin tires while running as I when through first without flooring it and only building like 3 or 4 psi. I did this intentionally (I'm afraid the 8" might not hold it) When I hit second is when I put the hammer down!

I run 12.0 usually. Fastest is a 11.81 in really good air. My 60's are like 1.79- 1.82. So there's a lot left in it.:)
