Desert Mavericks.......Sand Box

Saturday afternoon on Nov. 17th would be good for me. I'd like to be able to get home before it gets too dark. Maybe a lunch get together??

 

AS far as I know I am clear until thanksgiving. Just need to give the wife some notice so she dosnt plan anything. Maybe we can get Roger out of hiding for this and Craig will pop in with some car updates. Now its up to Mr Hand Grenade to pick a spot and a day. The Barros pizza I work at is plenty big and its nes to a safeway that has plenty of parking on the side the pizza place is on. Just sayin..... But its on the west side at 83ave and Cactus. Maybe something in Central Phx would be better.

 

Sometime in November sounds great.

 

Ok, the date and place is now set. November 17th at 12 noon at the Barro's Pizza on 83rd Ave and Cactus.

Unless there is rain or snow, there is no reason why we won't have at least 4 of us there. It's Don's date, Ryan's place and Gene bought into the whole thing. Now that doesn't mean there will actually be 4 cars there, but at least the people have signed up. I will text the guys that I have numbers for. Everyone else please do the same!

Should we let all of 100+ people on my contact list know? they are here in Az. but its been a waste of time contacting them all the last few times. It brought in myabe one or two more people besides the usual group. Maybe Ill just pick a few to contact that have actually responded or been on the board recently.

 

But the next big question is....how is the pizza? LOL

 

Dont worry Gene, it puts Sardellas to shame. Who wants to split a Hot Wing Pizza with me? It starts with the pizza dough, then a layer of hot wing sauce, mozzerella cheese, chicken, chedder cheese, then some more wing sauce on top. Or if How wing sauce isnt your thing you can do the BBQ chicken which is the same but has BBQ sauce where the wing sauce would be.

Ill make sure the boss hooks us up with the group discount.

 

I'm a big fan of hot wing sauce and/or buffalo wings. I'll def split one of those with you.

I don't know if I would go with all 100+ Ryan. Just contact the few that possibly might show. I've already texted Adam, Craig, Joe, Don, Gene and yourself. They are all in at this point. Of course it is a month out.

 

Ok, Ill send out a few messages to Alex, Robbie, Eric, Roger, John, the Stout guys with the Sprint, and whoever else has been around before. Screw it, anybody that has been logged on in the last 6 months is getting a mesage. Only doing it once though.

I just put it on my Calendar. We have a Barro's here in Casa Grande. Was great the first time I went. Pretty so-so the last time. Some one else told me they are a hit or miss place.
