Love that blue. When the light hits it looks real close to the 77 I did. I have family in Bradenton and will be down there the first of the year. Would love to see your car in person if possible.

Got the quater end caps wet sanded and buffed, then installed them on the car..... Sanded and primmed the top of the trunk lid and spoiler again..... Did a final sanding on the top of the deck lid and put a little base coat where the spoiler will cover.....

Here's the end caps after wet sanding and buffing.....

Installed the rear bumper today, thats the good..... I also prepped and painted the trunk lid, the not so good..... It was probably to windy, it's got a bunch of **** in it, plus when I bolted the spoiler down it distorted where the stud reinforcements are..... I will probably end up blocking it all the way down and repainting it, but I quess I will try wet sanding it first and seeing what it looks like.....

    Here's the rear bumper installed.....

Is the repair on the spoiler showing up? I don't know what those things are made of, but it's not fiberglass, and depending on the temperature..you can see where we had to repair mine. It drives me nuts. :D

I had it where it seemed to be pretty straight, atleast until I bolted it down on the trunk lid..... Bolting it down aparrently distorted it, so now I am going over it whil bolted down.....

This spoiler is not in the best of shape, I know it's never going to be perfect because when I straightend it at first and set it in place it looked really good..... After tightening it down it got wavy where it meets the top of the trunk lid(not necessarly where I repaired it either).....

Just a real PITA that I am just trying to make it look decent.....

I understand what your saying about the temp too, different materials expand and contract at different rates through temperature change..... Mine wasn't just showing a repair but was just wavy after bolting down, you could also see in the rear upright area where it got suck in right where the mounting stud standoff's are.....

Alright, here's an update finally(just so you know what's been happening, if you care or not)..... Last weekend I got pissed off with it because I sanded it all down, primmed it and blocked it..... Then sealed it and when I was putting base coat on it I noticed a scratch in the top and a pinhole in the back of the spoiler I somehow missed..... No biggie, I let it dry overnight..... Sunday I sanded it and filled the pin hole..... I tried to seal it again, and one corner checked for some unknown reason..... So I closed the shop up and leaft, this weekend I went back Sat morning and sanded it all the way back to the primer..... I tried once again to seal it, everything looked great except for where I somehow got a sag in the sealer on the back edge of the spoiler..... So I let it sit overnight and sanded the sag out this morning, also did a light scuff on the whole trunk lid..... Base coated it and cleared it, finally it looks decent..... Now if I can just manage to wet sand and buff it with out screwing something up next weekend..... I am over this body work crap already!!!!!

No pic's today due to Photobucket throwing a fit right now..... Not really much to see anyways, just a shinny blue trunk lid(big friggen deal).....
