I'll try to get one tomorrow...

    Thanks Glenn!
I decided to pretend I knew what I was doing, and strip some paint...

It's either the Bud Light, or the fumes...but I'm happy. :D

We're the silent type - but we're listening!

Looks like a good size, super clean rim, I can see right through it!

Don't these projects always do that? My Mav was supposed to be a quick $5k redo and make it a neat little driver. I passed that a few times over already Lol!! It is what it is.

Yup, this was suppose to be a quick fix, and drive car..nothing to worry too much about, and enjoy...but now it's.."I don't like the look of that spot weld"..... But then again, I finished my Green car in less time than I've owned this one...

I know how it is Dave ... that stage you don't want to go to ....

I keep looking at my driver door, sitting on the bench, knowing that if I reskin it, my car enters the "Patches" stage ... no more "all green, but patina'd" ... which is a vibe that doesn't really bother me that bad. Having one black door on it changes all that and means a ton more work facing me .... sigh ....

This has kept me motivated to do all the little projects on the list that have piled up while I ignore the bigger issue.

I drilled out the welds holding the trunk drop to the wheel well section I have, and it's not really that good, plus it has all the holes in it from the spot weld cutter, so I guess I'll make my own.
Not much time tonight, so tomorrow I'll cut it out.
