This should be an interesting read.
My 70 Maverick has been a drag only car since 1978 and without me it weighs in at 3080lbs.
It has no back seat/rugs/heater and only a one race seat, but does have a 10pt cage, has been tubbed but was done in sheet metal not aluminum, the fuel tank has been removed and now has a 5gal fuel cell in the rear along with a truck battery. Does have 100lbs of lead in the rear cross member (I believe this was done when it raced B/SM...to make the weight bais 50/50) and has a ladder bar setup with frame connectors running through the interior. Has a fiberglass hood but most everything is pretty much stock although it does have a 351w with aluminum intake, heads and 4core radiator along with Powerglide trans (which has a very heavy SFI aluminum bellhousing and SFI trans shield..... with 9". Has 15" wheels and tires although the rears are 31x13". I have 4 wheel disc brakes but they are race type and very light and a non power master cylinder. I would just venture a guess and say yours is pretty close mine..............although I have no idea what a stock one weighs.

Mavericks (stock) weigh between 2900 and 3300 pounds depending on year and equipment.

When I weigh my 4 door it weigh 2695 without me. I have probably 150lbs worth of parts needing to go back on though. When it was weighed I didn't have the hood, bumper, carpet, rear seat and door panels on. I don't have a/c, p.s., a heater box, also I have a fuel cell which takes some weight out. I wish I could have weighed it before adding the turbo if I had to guess the turbo probably added 50-60lbs. Your car would probably weigh close to mine but with those parts on it since you have 2 less doors.

No disrespect in the least. I just thought it was funny reading "One race seat, caged, tubbed, leaded crossmember, ladder bars, fuel cell" followed by "most everything is pretty much stock."

I have to second this no disrespect, laughing my arse off thing. Try getting that into the stock catagory of the car show.

Back to topic, I think with all the info given, temp outside, the time of the month in my wifes cycle, if I squint, I'm going to guess around 2900 to 3300 lbs., closer to the 2900. Are you a serious racer? is it really that important? I have always heard that 100lbs equals a .10 of a sec. but if it is a car that you drive and enjoy on the street do you really want to take everything out of it that would lighten it up to knock a couple .10s off your time, or maybe there is another reason to think about weight?

If there is a truck stop near you - just run it onto the scale - then you will know exactly what it weighs

Or a dump. They weigh you on the way in and the way out. So take like some junk to the dump in your trunk and get weighed. 17 bucks to weigh your car and get rid of some trash.

I'd avoid dumps and scrap yards if you dint want nails and things in your tires.
