Why aren't non users purged as members???

    Yeah this is self serving as I would have preferred to use Crazy Comet, but it was taken by someone that registered in '02 and has never posted... At least if it had been deleted(say after a year?) maybe some other active member could be using it...

    you could have done like my rival did. my username is alaskamaverick, someone else used alaska maverick. They joined but haven't posted

    I could see not deleting someone that logged on regularly(or even occasionally), but crazy comet was last on in '03... I'd be willing to bet they've long since gotten a different vehicle...

    My first post was about 5 years after I registered here. Another thing to keep in mind that many forums require you to register just to access/view some sections, cars/parts specifically in this case.

    So, in defense of a user name I prefered to keep set aside, and regardless of my logged on or posting activity.. I was simply researching mod's and hunting for purchase possibilities.

    Another thing to consider is that many might actually just create duplicate names as they move around through life between different computers and never bother to retrieve their old credentials.

    Not quite possible.. but sometimes it feels like I've probably lost more user names than I've created through the years! lol
