Filled up the gas tank, but in some Sta-bil fuel stabilizer, washed it, and put the 1976 blue 4-door away for the winter. :(

Tacked up the 2nd spring perch, and put the 8.8 in the car. It is now sitting with all 4 tires on the ground! No clearance issues what-so-ever with 17x8 rims on the back!

Went to buy rear shocks, had to order them as they don't stock them here, won't be in till Tuesday, good thing is I only paid $7.00 and some change for them both, thanks to the O'Reilly's five dollar certificates I had won!

Drove it, filled it up with non-ethanol 87 then had to lean out the carb some to smooth the idle back up

Our local station is 24 cent more...but its 91 octane not 87 and 10%+ more gasoline in each gallon. You should pick up 5-10% more MPG using 100% gasoline instead of 90% gasoline and 10% ethanol. Higher octane should also give you more MPG too with a carburetor feed/non computer engine. Pay now or pay later.

paid some more money to the machine shop to finish up the 347 (Thursday) then today cherry bomb mufflers were installed to slow down the roar of the open headers. it sounds pretty smooth (good chance the volume of the sound is street legal)and actually tamed the engine a bit it was running pretty hardcore (rough idle with a good lope to it). moved the accelerator spring but will be moving it back its just too stiff where its at now.
just a lot of trying this and that to get where I want
