...:Handshake... I started this thread once before but some CLOWN got in at about 3 posts and it went South from there. I deleted it and am going to try again... as always, if it stays...on topic...I will continue. I'm not good at body work, that's why it takes me so long to do a section. I just stick with it until it gets right... from what I have read, this DP 40 is going to be a...Boy Dog...to sand...
Yes DP-40 is like armor plate once its set...Good stuff though. IDK...Looks like you did a quality repair. Frank...Dont sell yourself short.
the sanding went smoother than I thought it would. I always use Dawn dish soap in my water when wet sanding...keeps any wax or oil out of the paper. went over it with 220 grit and then came back with 400... ...nap time...
pulled my rear spoiler off to clean it up and found a few paint chips. in an attempt to fix them I found that the spoiler had been repaired once before and had been painted over 4 times... soooo. I sanded it down to the fiberglass and did the repair correct...I took it to a friend of mines shop and he mended the glass, repaired a hole about the size of a dime that someone had filled with...body filler, blocked it out and primed it...
