In the second picture, it looks like there is a speck of dirt on the floor. What kind of shoddy shop you running there? LOL

Yeah go ahead and try and justify sending it there, no really it was only a parts car when it was made new so don't feel bad at all, thats what Comets are for.....parts!!
Ya gotta good trunk lid off of it?

Picked up some poster board and started tracing my patch panels that I need to make. Dug around in my quarters to see how bad the rust is. Not as bad as I thought. I may not even need to replace the trunk drops.

I ordered a fuel shut off valve to incorperate in the fuel cell vent some kind of way. The gas odor in the garage is freaking me out.

Today I scored on a 70 front bumper NOS ,it looked nasty from sitting for years but it cleaned up like new. :) I have been looking a long time, I still will need the brackets, stone guard, valance but this will help alot.(anyone got them? for sale). I am in my winter mode buying parts and storing stuff. I have been ignoring the Maverick all year since I came across a all org 1980 Pinto Rallye with 32,000 miles for the wife, to attend Shows along with me ......... (if she would like to). rallyhome3.jpg (Sweet little all Org. car, very cool!)

I am going to try to complete the Mav with the front bumper switch in 2013,all else is done minus final Painting. I just sent in my supporting member ship again and hope to be on the board more as I was prior. Here are a few pic's, and if anyone can help with parts let me know. I will be at the Columbus Ohio Show in a week, and checking there as well.

well, went to start my engine and checked the oil first
    found crap in it.
story short, i pulled the intake and found a mouse nest in the lifter valley.
so i removed and stripped down the engine. going to upgrade the cam while im rebuilding it.

    other things,
fabricating a sbf cam install tool.
polished the cam and crankshaft on the lathe
and making a few other parts.
im going to work on a rack and pinion setup as well.
