yep... here is a prototype to a OE maverick hood i just finished up a few weeks ago. some of you on my facebook would have already seen it.

anyhow here it is. i will offer it soon. now your probably thinking why a OE hood. actually there were a few that were interested and you know me.... a few is enough for me to do this for Maverick guys! lol!

BUT even better news is if i get the time i will start making the Cowl Hood again in Carbon Fiber. YES you herd me right! it will be based off of this OE design frame wise and mold which was based off the grabber one i did before. so it will be an improvement over the original cowl hood not that anyone had any complains about that one. ;)

i also found a someone that has boxes i can use that will fit this too so no more problems shipping anymore.

so give me some time here and i'll have both done sometime mid to late next year i would think. so start saving now. lol!

also if anyone has any doubts about carbon fiber vs fiberglass here is a vid of one of my other hoods. ;)

Carbon Fiber "OE FLAT" Hoods are in stock now!!!!

Very Limited quantity! $675 plus shipping! Shipping can range from any where between high $160s to high $190s. If interested please PM or email me at maverickman@maverickman.com

I think that a hood like the one pictured here , but with a 2 inch or maybe 2.5 inch cowl scoop would sell really well.:yup:

Have you had any requests for a grabber hood that has been raised a couple of inches?

Maybe if his screen name was CometMan!:biglaugh:
Seriously though, a one-piece Comet Gt hood with functional scoop would probably sell!:thumbs2:

I am thinking two pieces offer more verstality.. The scoop can be used on a Mav..

they already make a cyclone/cougar scoop replica. But a carbon fiber version sure would be nice though.

Personally.. I'd REALLY like to see a red weave carbon hood being offered. That would look killer with the right color schemes. Maybe even Grabber Blue cars running around with a blue carbon hood? :thumbs2:
