That would be smooth. I've been really considering a deep purple. A friend of mine had a valiant with purple lights in the instrument cluster and I loved it. Easy on the eyes and really nifty looking. But it really wouldn't work with my orange interior I think.

It looks like you were having issues because several of the bulbs were not working. I had this issue at first but pulled all bulbs, cleaned contacts and reinstalled.

Did you draw up that circuit yet? Id be interested in seeing how you do it. Ive got an old LED control circuit from HS laying around here somewhere. Even though my degree is in Electronic Engineering, I have to admit I do not get to do this kinda stuff much anymore as there is not much call for component stuff in IT anymore.

Yea I started to do it last night, but the software needed to be re-installed and I had a lot of stuff to do. I've got it installing right now actually.

Ok I made a pretty basic circuit design. I don't have the exact manufacturer specs on the stuff used by the OP so I had to go with just some basics.

Now the key is to know what the operational Ampere range of the LED is. I used a 5mA on LED for the circuit which is pretty common. My circuit sweeps from 4mA to 0.187A according to my design software. That would be pretty bright and my next step would be to breadboard the circuit and fine tune my R2 value. I'm not sure when I have to worry about exploding my LED, but usually the design software throws up an error if I am blowing components.

The U1 in the circuit is an indicator for the Amperage it has no effect on the circuit.

    Scooper you asked for it!

Angio refers to blood or lymph vessels, heart wasn't too far off! I think the term you wanted was myocardial infarction! Myocardial makes sense but the last term sounds more like a flatulance problem! I saw the humor in your response. You have to be able to laugh at yourself, you handled it well.
