Or if you can get me the total length of the tubes used I could calculate the weight. If made of roll cage tubing in mild steel, 1.625" in diameter, and has a wall thickness of .134", it weighs .178 lbs/inch. If made of roll cage tubing in chromolly, 1.625" in diameter, and has a wall thickness of .083", it weighs .114 lbs/inch. Thanks
Are these factory Brazillian Mav tail lights? I love them and I'm enjoying your build. You have skills my friend.
Chris well observed! Although I have changed the tank for a 22 gallon, the tank is still equal to the original, has the hole for the spare. And the trunk is now, floor plan, so I did those "cans" to give more support to tank. Got it? I'll take and install the gas pump that empty space between the tank and the trunk.
Did you add the support metal to the top underside of the fender, or was that a factory thing in Brazil? Either way, looks great, and a great idea, as the tops are pretty flimsy without it.
yes,I add the support..to avoid crack the painting..cos everybody loves to put the elbows to see the engine ..then clunk!! I saw this when I buy the car...and prevention is better than cure!
