Yes we care (at least I know I do)...please keep posting. Your DECENT is probably WAAAAY above average!!!
Photobucket seems to suck lately..they changed it to a new version, which was really bad..so I went back tot he old one, and it won't upload anything... I know kinda how you feel, I pulled my back a week ago Friday..so I've just stayed out of the garage..
Thanks guys..... Today I got the trunk lid wet sanded and on the car..... It's definately not perfect but not bad, it will have to do because I am over it..... Here it is wet sanded and ready to buff..... After buffing..... and back on the car.....
It was a royal pita!!!!! I actually had to twist the whole damn thing and tweak the seal rail down on the body to get it right!!!!! Unfortunately there is now a ripple in the center of the lid right infront of the spoiler from twisting it, and I have a small crack in the paint just outside the seal in the jamb from knocking that lip down..... Oh well, it's good enough.....
Damn, now i wish i didn't ask! That color is really starting to show real nice with all the parts going on. Top notch work Frank!!!
I got the doors down out of the loft today and removed everything out of them..... I have the 2 original doors and an extra drivers door due to the poor condidtion of the original one..... Both original door have had lower front door skin rust repairs(if you can call it that) and the drivers door is rusted out on the inside lower rear edge..... The extra drivers door I have looks like it's in decent shape, tomorrow I am going to start stripping the doors so I can see what I really have..... Here's the pass door..... Here's the original drivers door..... and here's the other drivers door.....
i had my doors media blasted to keep the shrinkled texture. cleaning them up with a wire wheel might destroy it.
