If you are ever interested in finding a Vespa, I have a friend who just retired in Wisconsin who has been building and restoring them for more years than I can remember..................he also does early Cushman's.

Oficially pickled the Sprint for the winter...Currently sitting at the desk...:drool:ing over my modified by,Jack (jmg ford) Instrument cluster, now sporting a factory looking tach where the idiot lights used to be.
Guys...If you have been contemplating having Jack do the tach mod for you...Wait no longer...git er done...You wont be dissapointed. This is a flawless top notch mod done by a true artisan.
Sorry no pics today...Need batteries for the camera...

Can't wait for the pic. It's something I should do since I emptied out the dash shell so I could paint it. The windshield washer knob was a pain but luckily I stopped and searched for the answer on here before I got too frustated. Also started polishing my winshield trim. I've already done my taillight bezels, taillight housings, and rear marker light brackets. My trunks going to be like a mirror.:yahoo:

went and found a fuse box with flat blades to replace the factory tube box with. took it from a 80s ford truck on a whim when i got it home it looks like i can get it to fit in the opening on my 77 just need to figure out how to bolt it in. will be able to increase the # of circuits for alarms and door locks ECT , fuses will be easier to find and make flashers easier to get to.

    swapped the front coil springs.
took the ones from my white Maverick (200) which I cut a coil and a half and swapped with my green Maverick (had a 250) no cut yet. maybe after 302 swap depending how much it will lower the front.

Yesterday I finished up polishing up my rear marker light brackets. A couple of months ago, I bought a buffing wheel and after messing up a couple of bezels, I decided to start with something a bit stronger to see what I could do. They're not perfect but I had fun doing it and now I've learned enough to move on to the windshield trim.
