What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    Removing all the oil from the bottom side around the rear end... Preserved the metal very well, was about a 1/4" thick though.. Also just welding up tons of small holes, need to get some aircraft paint remover now for the wheel wells and get all the stuff out of there looks like factory rock guard maybe? Also took out all the fiberglass the PO had on the quarter panels, thinking patch panels are the best option right now.

    I guess that's why you have to keep buying new tires and I'm still on the same dry rotted set from 1989 :biglaugh:

    Well yesterday I drove to Car-Nuts, and bought some parts from him. now my son and I can start to put this puppy together. were not doing a full resto yet, but this will be his daily driver. And a big thank you to Car-Nut for the parts.

    Took the temporary Duraspark wiring off and started to make the new harness. Debated installing a ballast resistor. Read forums. Yes you need it...no you don't...yes you need it...no you don't...yes you need it...no you don't. :hmmm: :huh:

    After my head started to hurt, I ordered a ballast resistor.
