How Many Gt's Were Produced?

Does anyone at all, have a breakdown on how many Comet GT's were produced each year? I have been looking for an answer and can't find it.

this doesn't tell how many were GT's but it does tell how many 2-doors and 4-doors were produced each year when you get on this link you have to click on whatever year year model you want and the number of cars made that year is at the bottom of the page

Get a Marti Report and see. I have one for my 71 and there were 13,677 GTs made in 71.

my god,, 13,000 gts....thats not many at all....i wish i had my 71 gt back it was red on red with deluxe interior and floor shift

 

That's approximately half the number of Grabbers that were produced in 71 .... cool ..

 

according to the website that i posted above their was only 15,068 2-door comets made in 76 but their weren't any GT's in 76 i don't think and 9,109 made in 77 just to give my

 

12.221 Gts in 72 according to my Marti report

I wonder how Marti breaks them up since there is no designation in the VIN's? I guess he has Ford production stats separate from VIN ID's.
Comet GT's were only made '71-'75 in this bodystyle. Marti has nothing as far as stats
after 1973-at least that is what he rudely told me on the phone a couple of years ago.

Did they make 6cly gts ?
I have a 71 comet gt 3 sp 302 gt

 

yes they made 6 cylinder GTs and 6 cylinder grabbers.

 

I might add this info to the VIN list, if there aren't any objections. I have the stats for the Grabbers already (by VIN 93 of course) from a book I had.
