I started pulling parts out of the car. I had all my spare pieces stashed in it for the move.

 I miss having gobs of power on tap. My high powered "hot rod" is my 89 F250 with a 460 and that's just a turd. It's funny, I had my GTO for 20+ years and swore I would never sell it. Now that it's gone all I miss is the power, it had a 455, turbo 400 and 4.11's and tripped the lights at 11.80 @ 115 mph. Not bad for a 3900 pound whale of a car.

Sanded the roof again for a couple hours.. Applied the last coat of filler, I hope... Just had 2 low spots left and hopefully after tomorrow the rest can be fixed with a couple coats of high build..

On another note.. Waiting for a email back, hopefully picking up a 72mav 4 door parts car on Saturday.

I can't even see my car. Garbage bags fill the garage at the moment after Christmas and cleaning the house getting ready for a Christmas party.

Bought a 4 door Mav... Couldn't pass up for the price, isn't mint, rusty in spots.. Won't feel bad chopping it up... Dash and dash pad are MINT...windshield and trim as well.. Hope someone here needs 4door parts I can let go super cheap or free...door panels lOoked extremely nice..been waiting for a ferry for 3 hours.. 30 more mins to go then a 2 hour drive home... Jeez I hate ferries, especially to these small islands that don't run often on weekends. I'll post pics of this mustard yellow lookin thing later tonight.

I just had to google where you are located. I take it you have to take a ferry if you ever want to go anywhere?

Some what... I'm on Vancouver island which is actually pretty big, most people have no reason to leave. I just left pender island which is pretty small and it was 150 bucks to get me my dad and the truck/trailer across, on that ferry you only pay one way. We got the ferries to get to the mainland and many airports to go wherever as well, 2 which are big airports.

To simply answer your question though, if you need to go anywhere important you need to fly over or ferry over to the mainland (Vancouver area)
