It's just near the bottom of the windshield from the dash and couple inches up, looks white/smokey.. Is there any way to remove it? It won't effect my vision at all but if I can have it look better, why not right?

No...The glass is de-laminating from the film in the middle that keeps most of it out of your eyes in an accident.

Yep, 250 - 300 should be the going rate, bought a "67 Fairlane windshield 2 years ago for around 200 with top tint strip.

nope no safelite i looked into every glass place and people who do it out of their houses...cause everyone here talked about how they were that price i couldn't find anything, one was like 540 maybe? but needed shipped to me...mind you i could have broke mine..claimed it on insurance and paid my 300 dollar deductible to get a new one...but for that price i got this 4 door that had it..plus tons of other good parts i scavenged, all i got to get is a new gasket from AK or somewhere.
