Finished stripping the inside of the pass door this morning..... Then ground the remainer of the bondo out of it and straightend out the lower corners.... After that I put some bondo to it..... Here's what I did today.....
Went to the shop for a short time this morning..... Sand the bondo on the pass side door, and then refilled the low spots(the pain in the ass process)..... Sorry no pic's, forgot the camera.....
Here's the new wrench in the works..... I went to New Jersey over the weekend and picked up the 15,000 mile 72 Comet the spent most of it's life in a vintage car museum..... Here's a pic on the trailer at the hotel in Richmon, VA on the way back..... and one at home when we got back Sunday night..... I'll get some more pic's this weekend and probably start a new build thread.....
Let me get this straight....... You came to MY STATE, bought a museum car and took it back to YOUR STATE?? And didn't have the courtesy to stop in and visit while you were here? How rude! Car looks nice! What part of Jersey was it in?
Figured someone on here would buy it...Nice going frank!!! Any future plans for it you wish to divulge...Or are you going to keep it unmolested???
It's the one that has been for sale on here for quite a while now, it's a 200 I6 auto..... Yes..... Aparrently not..... Manahawkin..... Unmolested - Yeah right..... My build is going to change to this chassis, but not exactly where it was going..... It's a really solid rust free car.....It has a few issues with chrome not being great, I am sure due to it's time in the NJ elements while the 15,000 were put on it(not to mention the high quality chrome these cars came with anyways).....
Wow, I didn't think you were going to make a project of it. Hope it doesn't slow down your current project from getting done. I'm sure it will be nice though! What was the name of the museum? It wasn't in the flood from Sandy was it?
