Yesterday, I decided the rusty headers on my Mav had come to the end of the road, after 13yrs. I was tired of smelling exhaust and putting up with the noise. So, I trekked to Macon and met Frank, and we went over to Harold's garage, and he made short work of the headers. Here are a few pics. Enjoy!
How in the world did you get headers to last 13yrs? Glad you got it fixed because exhaust fumes are no good at all for you! Looks like a very nice setup!!!
Well, I park it in a garage, and have since I have had it. Also, using the car a lot keeps the moisture out of them from condensation. Just time to retire them. And yes, fumes are bad for you, and your passengers. Glad it is fixed. Car is quieter, better inside.
You too, Frank! I'll figure out something else for Harold to do soon, you can count on it. Hmmmmm, maybe rack and pinion.........
