Northern California Car Show 7/8/12

If there is one next year, or any other ones in the Nor Cal area I would love to go. I dont know anyone else who owns a Maverick haha and it would be cool to talk and see others!! Just like Junrai I just saw this post...My mav needs some more work to get back on the road but id say by the summer she will be ready. Nothing special but I love to drive it and represent the MAVERICKS!!!

 

We were actually discussing it two days ago. We will be having another show this year and maybe even two. More than likely one will be in the summer and maybe one in the fall(autumn). I stay in contact with Junrai and hopefully he will be there too. Even if he trailors it, he won't be the first. We had someone last year do it. I'll post it up here when we figure out when exactly it will be. Hope to see you there!

 

BETTER BELIEVE ILL BE THERE! if I gotta load it on my trailer and bring it Im coming! HOPEFULLY the 1000 horse engine is in by then. it would be bad azz showing up with the engine sticking up half way through the windshield only got $5k to go keep your fingers crossed it gets paid off in time. I promise to do my best lol

Well.................if we could get a number of Maverick guys there I'd trailer the Maverick up.....................it should only be 3 to 4 drive hauling the trailer.......................or maybe have it the weekend of a race at SAC.

 

any time anyone wants to head out to sac to get together Id be there or everyone could come to my place. we could take all the parking on the block. and have all of the neighbors coming out to check out our rides. every time I pull my comet out of the garage my neighbors come running out with there cell phones or cameras in hand

my buddy has a newer mustang across the street and he like my comet as much as his mustang. at one point he said he wanted to get rid of his mustang and get a comet lol

 

I am going to start looking for a good date, hopefully before it gets too hot in summer. I would love to see the looks on the other peoples faces if you guys come cruisin' in with your engine sticking up halfway through the windshield or trailering in your race car. We can show them how bad a$$ Mavericks and Comets can be.

 

So we would like to have two car shows this year. One before it gets too hot and one after it starts cooling down. We were discussing one at the end of May and the other around the beginning of September. The first show will probably be like normal and there will be a trophy for "fan favorite", but the second show will probably be just for fun(no trophy). Will get exact dates soon.

 

Don't really car about trophies, just about getting together with other Maverick guys..................either month looks good right now.................as
long as some other Mavericks other than yours and mine would attend. I'd look forward to coming up.

 

I just got off the telephone with junrai and he will more than likely be there too. Maybe even in his kids Comet since his won't be done by then. Hopefully we can get a few others to show up!

 

Id love to roll up!! Im hoping to have mine done by then. Tires and a fuel cell and im back on the road!! My car is far from trophy worthy haha but id just like to see a group of mavs lined up!!

 

We would love to have you. The more the merrier! Well, I'm not really trophy worthy either, unless it is the "under construction" category. It would definitely be cool to see a group of Mavericks and Comets lined up.

 

Well, then lets make it happen!

 

Date and location? My maverick is ALMOST drive ready. Just gotta finish up a few safety things and make some clutch adjustments.

 

everyone can count on me being there with my comet
i may even attempt to drive my sons comet up there. Im sure it will make it but Ill have to put some screws back in the dash to hold it in place so I dont have it falling down on me while driving down the freeway.

car is kind of a pile but its got potential and we have all of the parts it needs to be fixed up nice

 

We are thinking about Sunday, June 2nd 2013 for the first show.
