    Seen this one in local neighborhood

    6 cylinder, hadn't been on road for couple years, picture was taken over a year ago, seen owner last week said he wanted to sell it now, wanted $5500

    Pulled up and stopped while I was checking out 6 cylinder maverick, late model 302 installed, said he was from GranPrarrie I think?
    If I remember right he was looking for small bumpers

    Wife's Dr's nurse said her husband had one in garage, I went and looked at it, been parked 10 years, had new paint when parked!

    went out tonight to pickup some junk car parts across town and saw a 2 door blue small bumper comet backed up in a driveway with a flat tire. looked like a decent car but it was JUST about dark. I could see it was fairly straight. Im going to go back tomorrow and knock on the door to see if it might be for sale (fingers crossed it is and for cheap)

    found one

    My Gps took me to the wrong end of a 7 mile road, but look what was there! I knocked on the door but noone was home. Am going back to try again! Can anyone narrow down the year? I know its 75-77 but not sure which. Am hoping for 76 or 77. It has the ford letters on the front of the hood.

    Nice find Don! My 75 also had the ford letters on the front of the hood. It had the other style vinyl roof though.

    I'm thinking '74. Cross-hairs in turn signals, silver headlight bezels and grille, no "FORD" script on the hood and the top is not the 3/4 vinyl like the 76-77's had.

    I know the later years have a piece of vertical trim in center of the grill, this doesnt have that. Im thinking 75 as well. Was hoping for power brakes but Ill take it anyway. If the guy will let it go.

    It DOES have the Ford script, it doesnt show in the pic. So its gonna be a 75 I think.

    I got in touch with the owner and he said he sold it a month ago but the guy hasnt picked it up yet. AAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe I missed out! :mad:
