any chance youll share what you paid for it?
I was talking to the previous owner about the car. I was saying how nice it was to see such a CLEAN SOLID SURVIVOR car. he said he let his kid drive it to high school his senior year. I loved the all original look of it.
Im glad a member here got it but I think I wouldve just made it a nice driver only changing what was needed to bring it back to new.

nice steering wheel you put on but I like the old one better
wish my kids comet was as clean

    money well spent.
its alot of money but to get another car thats not in that shape and to bring it back would cost you that much if not more as body work is the most expensive work that can be done to a car since it takes SO many man hours getting everything just right.

I dont judge people for what they do to there car its theres to do as they wish.
myself I would like to have an original survivor like that one day. gotta finish paying off the race car first.
I keep looking at stock 6 cylinder cars and theyre usually in much nicer shape than original v8 cars wonder why that is? wonder if its more practical people who bought the 6cyl models and just the kind of people who take good care of there things where as v8 owners probably bought them just for toys to terrorize. like most boys who get new toys they thrash em and bash em then throw em away or just stick them in the closet when they done broke it lol

I think my next project will be a clean I6 model with air
