Would this work? Paint is original and just has minor dings. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe this is a 71-72 maverick valence. Only issue would be finding a box to ship it in.

Actually, it's a '73. The front 'opening' is too wide to be a 70-72. I would think, however that the bottom (outer) profile to which the spoiler would mount would be the same as the 70-72.

The 70-72's have more of a peak in the middle.

I have both, I could pull them out and compare.
You can kinda see it in this picture:

Yep, that looks like a 70/72 front valance.
Do you do body work? If not I could pick it up and do the body work, prime it and do a trial fit on my Maverick or yours, then I could make a box and we could send it....................................I only live about an hour away.
Let me know...............I probably wouldn't be able to pick it up until next Monday as I am heading out of town.

Just an amateur on bodywork. You can pick up and fit it on your car. I'm sure we can set something up.

    Sounds like a plan.

It looks pretty good, no major twisting, or dents.

I don't mean to butt in here, but I will get the valance from 7D2 Grabber and do the body work if it isn't too bad, if not, I will take it to a friends body shop and have him fix it without using any bondo..........I will then take mine off and test fit the repaired one...................if it fits Ok 7D2 Grabber and I will make the box and send it Randy.
Again, I don't want to steal anyones thunder here, but I think it would be easier if 7D2 Grabber and I contacted Randy to make sure this will be Ok, again..................I have no interest in doing anything other than making this happen..................and ofcourse getting a spoiler for my Maverick....
if that is Ok just PM me.

It's not about the thunder it is about getting the ball rolling on this. I just thought it would be best to have one point of contact and not fill his email box with the same type of email from mulitple people.

I will send Randy a message letting him know to expect an email from you with the shipping information of the valance that you are planning on sending him. At that point if I need to step away I will.

If you want to be the point guy....................I've got no problem with that, I just wanted to talk with him about how he feels if I repair the valance and test fit it on my car or we could even test it on 7D2's Comet..........and not have to send two valances back there. I assume that 7D2 would receive the credit for getting a free spoiler or whatever, but I'd also like to know how much he thinks (ball park) they will cost for the first one (and time frame) and the possiblity of making a little different one for me, one more like Car-Nut's Camero spoiler and maybe out of aluminum instead of steel................also if he had any idea on how deep they would be as I've got limited clearance because my front end sits low.....the only reason I thought it would be easier to get answers direct from him rather than going through you..............no offense.................I just thought talking with him would get all of the questions answered and not have to waste time with emails.
Just looking at trying to expedite the process................if you want to do this......................that's fine with me.

Take it easy there... I just don't want to load it on a person that may help us as a whole. I figured it would be easier if there was one point of contact to get at least the first one started and build before we start throwing curveballs at him.

I am more than happy to turn it over to whomever wants it. Nobody seemed to want to be the point person so I thought I would step up. It is now yours and I am stepping back. I have already forwarded the information that you will be contacting him about sending a valance that will work for him.
