Sorry Tom, I certainly didn't want to push you away. I'm an Ole guy and sometimes I act like a Bull in a China shop...................Wally is only an hour away from me and as long as the body work isn't too bad I can handle it, if not I have a friend that can........and thought if I could talk with Randy and explain what Wally and I were going to do................that we could get his blessing before spending time/money to get this sorted out.
I'm just looking to try and accelerate the process........................that's all................and yes, I am kind of very excited about getting a metal spoiler for my Maverick:Handshake

In the words of Rodney King: "can't we all just get along?" :)

We are all working for the same goal here. Let's just remember that, and everything should be fine. I am glad what I started has taken on a life with so many people interested in seeing it happen!

Just an update as to what Wally and I will do.
I'll pick up the front valance from Wally early next week(I just talked with Wally)......I will take my front valance off my car, try Wally's...........then hopefully I can get the needed repair done within another week..make sometype of box/crate for the valance to make sure it gets to Gary in one piece and good condition..................I just talked with Randy and he told me it could take 1 to 2 months to make the first article..........or maybe sooner................the first will go to Wally for his Comet...............and then we will all have a place to go for "metal" spoilers.
Don't hold Randy to these numbers, but he said he thinks after making the first one they should cost in the $120/$150 range for the standard steel.
I would like him to make an aluminum one for me kind of like the Camaro ProStreet.....................but until he gets the first one made he has no idea what anything else will cost.......................so as soon as we get this shipped off to Randy we'll let everyone know...................I for one am very excited.............................................................Can't wait!

Just wondering if there is any updates. I talked with Randy through some emails and he has not heard anything from anyone.

Everything is still as planned, just have to get the valence straightened out and it will be on its way.

I talked with Randy about a week ago. Wally and I haven't gotten together yet because of his schedule and mine, but well will this week. As soon as I get it in my hands the work will begin, then Randy should have it within a week or two..................................just a lot of things going on.........we are on top of it.
Will let you know more at the end of this week.

Ok guys......................the front valance is finished! Just need to test fit it again to my Maverick.............then it will be off.
I did sent an email to Randy letting him know it will be on its way next week.
Sorry it took so long............just too much on my plate right now.
I will build a bullet proof box and get it shipped after I come back from North...............Monday or Tuesday next week.

Maybe make a support to go across the top, that keeps it in the same position as it would be, when bolted to the fenders. Looks awesome!! (y)
