Final 2 Candidates for a Stripe

i do like your stripe. it was in the running for a long time.

 

I prefer your first pic. Still looks like a hockey stick to me though. LOL. Sorry.

 

I like the idea but maybe the front of the stripes need to continue up the front fenders and possibly blend into a hood decal

Personally, I see no reason to advertise what size engine you have.

Thanks for all the feed back. I have decided to go with the first stripe. That will leave me with some options to put something above it in vinyl some day if I so choose.

Now back to paint striping my aluminium trim.

which is for good reason since that's what it's obviously based off of. "Chicken or the egg".. and all that.

I agree too. Without the numbers on top of that stripe.. it will surely look even shorter than it already is.

I personally think it will look lopped off and incomplete without the numbers on top.

 

I like the stripes that alot of the Ford Drag Team Mavericks had. My car isn't fast enough for stripes though.

 

That's the beauty of racing stripes though. You don't start it up.. and just let them wonder how fast it really is.

Bigger hood scoops help that same way too.

Yep.. many races have been won without even starting the engines. Much easier to get away with those "3/4 cam" remarks too!
