Your car looks great but Holy Cow, does that look like a tragedy waiting to happen.

I like the racing but I sure wouldn't take my grandson to this event - did you see the guy standing on the "track" side of the guard rail in the last video

I know that is not the right place, and that people risk a lot, I just wanted to show my car, in my city there is no place to run.:(

At least you don't have guys darting out onto the track to play chicken with the race cars like some of those crazy idiot rally racing spectators.

The middle east racing scene is crazy dangerous too.

    By the way.. nice car.

Not much different than what happens on many streets in many cities in the USA. I have been to and participated in many of these local events:burnout: and I actually miss them. Yes it's illegal and dangerous but damn it was fun! Thanks for posting and that's one sweet little car you have there.:chirp:

tru dat. I was still sneaking out just a few years ago to partake in some of that same fun.. until it cost me 2 grand in trouble and an impound. Now the wife has ears like a damned cat if I start anything up that could possibly get me in trouble these days. Nowadays she actually wants the boy/s to go with me more often just so I don't get too wild when "just running to the store". lol

Plus.. the street racing task force's in St Paul are rediculously overfunded these days due to guys like me increasing their revenues more and more often through the summer months. My buddy even got a ticket in his 94 Stang a few years ago just for quickly revving his engine to about 5 grand to show off for the crowd while waitng in stopped traffic in front of Porky's drive in. When I saw him later on I said.. "HUH?!.. that's illegal?!". he said.. "YEP!.. it's $165 dollars worth of illegal." Me and my 2 boys were sitting around watching cars while drinking those damned old watered down shakes when the umarked Crown Vic u-turned right over the median and cut right in front of him with lights on.

It's so bad now that if your shift kit chirps tires even at very light throttle(like my Blazer does).. they'll pull you over and do a saftey inspection while giving you the business.

So, as dangerous as that type of racing surely is in some places.. at least they have a decent place to do it which is more than most of us can say in the states. We choose location first just to be discreet.. and then safety second which is far worse, IMHO. Plus, it's not like they maintain the blacktop very well when getting off the beaten path either.. and higher powered cars can get squirly even on the big end.

where we go its a road way out in the sticks and its miles from any houses with nothing but fields on both sides of the road. the cops know where it is but its not there county and no one is bothering anyone out in the boonies so they just dont care. the guys around here go out every weekend. we go out whenever we dare to.

irs loads of fun even though it is somewhat dangerous to drive a 40 year old car that needs one of everything at 120mph

Hi friends the place is just outside the city with the desire not to affect anyone, but just as people do not pay attention the risk that is being around cars, thank you very much for your comments
