I am looking for pictures of the edge of the doors that show where the color change occurs. I want to make sure that before I paint the color on the outer portion of the door that I have it taped correctly. It should transition under the seal but I want to be sure.

I have taken over 1000 pictures of the car and do not have one of the doors prior to media blasting.

    Thanks

I also looking for your opinion if the window frame on the door should be the color of the inside door color or the body color?

Ill try and find mine. The transition to the interior color was awful. Not under the weatherstrip and different on both doors. LOL. It was bad. We painted the whole door exterior color. Then I planned on taping and spraying the interior color. I left the doors body color in the end. Of course that depends on your colors.

    You talking about this line?
This was after a colour change done in the 80's but it reflected the original line up the door and yes it's pretty sloppy factory....

Yes that is what I am looking for. Do you guys happen to have pictures of the bottom of the door and the front side?

I have seen the color on the window frame both the color of the inside of the door and I have also seen it the color of the car. What do you guys think is best. I do plan on reinstalling the stainless trim around the outside of the window frame.

The window frame should be interior color on the inside.

I think you should paint the inside of the door to match the interior of the car.
