Well, showed up at the auction! was only about 20 people there, one other guy was interested... The final bid ended at $500!! :bananaman

Didn't think I'd get it that cheap, and the tow lot was very bummed as well! It has an extremely nice grabber hood on it!!! Interior is torn up. The car originally came in the lot as abandoned, I found a small paper in the car saying "outta gas be back in 15" and I would assume that was the end of that! I found a key underneath the seat which was awesome so now I can actually unlock it and start it. the trunk is solid! Havn't put gas in it yet, but it turns over freely and has some fresh underhood parts (alternator, starter, battery ect) needless to say it was a great day.

I washed it simply so my neighbors wont give me any grief lol:yup:

Are the defogger and sport lamp switches like those pictured common? this is my first true Grabber I've ever had.

Btw..The pans are a bit rusty and theres some body damage that just would be expensive to fix. One dies, many live :)

Way to go Matt, yellow is my favorite color.

Some people would shoot you for parting that car but I understand as I have done the same many times.

I havent bought a parts car in so long I am going through withdrawals :(

Whenever I doubt myself about cutting a mav up or parting it out I seriously stop and think "what would Mike do?..hmm..ah heck, he'd still part it out!" (y)

I'll keep my eyes out for parts mavs so I can get you a fix :rofl2: I've raided two grabbers of hoods and spoilers in one week! somehow they slipped under your radar from the past years ;)

    Nice score Matt ..............

Defog is the Ford made dealer installed switch - very common. And the sportlamp switch is missing the paddle handle, also very common. The switch handle is the same as the 67-68 Cougar switches and can be found from Cougar parts suppliers.

    :)
