Got it back from the electric technician , it had a live wire from turning light going in to fuel tank :rant2: it burnt the resistor from fuel float, still need to replace that, and the grill and fuel cap emblems, but good enough for a ride on sunday,:drive:

    Help?

Put a new doughnut gasket on the exhaust pipe to manifold. It's running quiet now. Car itself isn't running too good though. I'm pretty sure my gas is contaminated because I've already replaced the carb and rubber fuel lines. Any suggestion? My gas tank is aftermarket. It's welded in and can't be easily removed...

Changed oil pan gasket and oil pump while I was under there. Swapped old hardware for ARP goodies. Also installed a Gano filter. Gonna call Bryant on Monday to pay for the rear parts. Good ol tax refunds.

Sanded, filler, sanded, filler.. Sanded.. The. Went tried go squire a grabber spoiler but he plans on keeping it for his car..so I went back home and sanded more, both fenders are now off, as well as the hood. Then I went on to clean the shop and the tool bench (inside the car) took forever to put all the stuff away id been piling up inside there instead of walking 40 ft inside the shop to pit it away..going to stop at the store inthe morning to grab masking tape and it's time to mask/////prime and prime.. Hope to lay downa couple coats.

Going to drop off a headlight bezel in the morning as well..referred the man to this site as he now plans on keeping his grabber.

Removed my interior (seats, carpet, kick panels and seat belts, etc) to prep floor for rust converter and ultimately some sort of paint/protection.

I definitely have cowl issues, from the looks of the rusty water trail. The underpadding was pretty wet. I don't drive the car in the rain, and have only washed it with water twice since September.

The dash is coming out, next.

took these horrendous ones off and back to matching wheels i did go to a 255/60/15 from the 255/70's and should be back to stock gearing (speedo is dead on) so milage testing continues

i did order a oil pan gasket, early timing chain, and some bearings to throw in it just as precautions :tiphat:

Replaced my non-adjustable rocker shaft with an adjustable rocker shaft. My thinking was because with the .070 shaved head my old pushrods were too long. With the 1/4" shorter pushrods I happen to have on hand I won't be able to adjust them if they start to tic. If I need to...I will get the 1/8" shorter pushrods.
