I did a lot of cleaning today. Finally got all the insulation off the inside of the roof (it had a smell) I cleaned up the trunk floor, and the inside of the quarters (in front of the rear wheels) Then covered them with POR 15...(I can't upload and pic's my wife is mad, since our internet is maxed out, until the 14th) :mischeif:

FabricatorJ - I would like to see how you built your MII front suspension for your 70 - Instead of continuing this in Dave's thread, start a new thread of your own and include pictures - looking forward to seeing what you did :thumbs2:

Since I'm still on the fence about the Mustang II swap...
I thought I'd install the coilover suspension upper mount to see how it all fits. I've been dealing with Street or Track for a little while now, to see if their Mustang kit would fit into a Maverick, and since they didn't know for sure, I agreed to buy the upper mounts and try them, since that was the unknown factor for them. So, it fits.

What are you painting your roof with (under the vinyl)? I'm contemplating using POR-15 on mine, but I don't know how well the adhesive will play with it. Your roof looks good (little to no rust).

I'm going to spot blast the bad rust, then brush on a few good heavy coats of epoxy primer, then use metal filler. If it comes out decent, I'm just going to paint the top, if not it'll get another top.
