Hey Captain Comet...yes that was it. I went and looked at it 2 weeks ago and it had crappy welds so I passed. I called him up yesterday and made him a trade offer that worked for me and him.

This thing was actually made for a maverick. I plan on making serious changes to it to make the car sit as low as I want so Im planning on cutting it up and re doing some if not all of the bars. Where in Dunedin are you? Im off Belcher and Solon. I have my car at a warehouse off Hurcules. Glenn

I am in Amberlea (by Ace Hdwe). I'll bet your car is warehoused in the same complex where my last band used to practice at ... great workshop spaces.

Are you running a separate build thread for your car? I am looking forward to following what you are going to be doing to your car :thumbs2:

FrankTf suggested that I keep adding to this thread so that anyone interested can see all the history. I kinda agree and it makes sense.

    Too late now but ...

With a little judicious cutting you might have been able to recoup some of your cost by selling the whole front assembly with frame rails to some poor rust belt owner.

    Someone should have spoke up.
