    Well i decided to get some QTP 26x9.5-14's for the Mav. Really want an 11 sec car, not a 12.

    Went. Waited (4hrs). Ran. Missed consecutive shifts. Aborted. Drove home. Drank.

    So apparently I wasnt. Embarrassed and disappointed.

    Only numbers to report are a .36 R/T an 1.97 60'

    Chalking it up to experience.

    Bummer...well at least you went and made it down the track without breaking anything! That's an accomplishment right there. Next time will be better for sure. There is supposed to be the Southwest Nostalgia drags on Saturday April 13th at Firebird...normally this would be held at the now closed Speedworld dragstrip. It's a daytime event. Maybe you can make that. I plan to race my Maverick. (y)

    Hey Tim...I found out that the Nostalgia race for April 13th has been postponed but hopefully will be re-scheduled soon. Don't know when yet.

    Get a minimum 3.70 gear out back w/ better tires and traction bars, you will see a big increase,you have way to much motor for your set up.
