Maverick tail lights

    Has anyone tried flush mounting the Maverick tail lights? if so, whats involved. pictures would be welcome

    They already flush mount. Maybe you mean has anyone frenched them in....never seen one.

    me either. And I'm not sure the already "minimalistic" bezel would allow it to look so good even if someone did do it.

    It has been done and there used to be pictures of it on this board. It was quite a while ago and I dont remember who did it but it was a yellow car and looked pretty good.

    Those flush fitting lites w/o bezel look gud. If I had a Mav I wud seriously consider the mod.

    well.. I'll be a monkey's uncle.. that don't really look too bad at all. Certainly less "Pinto'ish". ;)

    Hard to tell from that angle.. but they almost seem a bit out of scale for the size of the rear end now.

    Now you got me wondering how the wider Bobcat lights would look when frenched in like that. :bouncy:

    I always thought that Maverick tail lights would look better if the bezel wasn't so thick and wide. Maybe shave the bezel down about half the thickness or more so the tail lights didn't look like an after thought...like tail lights on a utility trailer.

    The Pinto had Maverick taillights since the Maverick came out first. :thumbs2:
