    Ryan, Tim and myself met up at the car show at the KMart at 67th Avenue and Bell Road tonight. There were a ton of cool cars there but as usual we were the only Mavericks. Nice meeting you Tim and killer sleeper Mav!!! :thumbs2: Here is a pic...from left to right...me, Ryan and Tim.

    So today my wife is having surgery to repair her broken ankle...get in my daily driver SUV to take her and bamm...starter shot :mad:...battery is brand new but no cranky over...good thing I have another vehicle that runs and is dependable....

    When my wife got in an accident last year the truck was down...and it was Maverick to the rescue as well! Please let your wife know that we are thinking of her.

    It was a large time had by all. Gene and I showed up at the same time and Ryan joined us later in the evening. I met a bunch of high school buddies that I hadn't seen in 25 years and we were reminiscing most of the evening. Sorry to my Maverick buddies if I didn't get to spend a bunch of time with you, as I was spread pretty thin. I had a blast though! I was hoping to make the Jennabears show at the Peoria Sports Complex this weekend, but I got a new part for the car and I've got a competing event out at Fountain Hills for the Border Collie rescue. So I might not make that one. But I am planning on attending the Cruise on Central the following weekend (the 13th) if anyone is interested. I know that Ryan doesn't care for that one.

    I'm still thinking about the cruise on Central. Some of my buddies with Inliners International are also thinking about going and another Maverick buddy just called me yesterday asking me about it.

    I like it myself. Costs $10, but I get a free t-shirt, so it makes sense for me. Where else can you get a printed t-shirt for $10?!?
