Weighed the sock hood. 38 lbs. So I lost 20 off the top and front of the car by going to the new hood.

Battery is already gone to the rear. There is really not much more I am willing to do to the front end to lighten it up besides wheels. But thats BIGGGGGG money.

yeah.. I figured as much and was just teasing in relation to the thread we're in.

Should have some more time to fool around with and possibly finish your render this weekend. ;)

I guess it has been a little while since my last update.

I've changed tires from BFG to Super Sticky Falcon Azenis. Same Size front, little smaller rear until I can clearence the inner wheel tubs a little.

Next stop is the North Texas MCCI mini-meet in Carrolton. Then the following weekend, the NTAX autocross at Texas Motor Speedway. Hopefully my new sway bar will be here by then.

Cool. I'd really like to see how a real shop would do it vs my jackstand fab version. But then again, it would likely result in a lot of :slap: followed by :cussing:then :badwords:, and :banghead:, and eventually  . Hmmm. Maybe I really DONT want to see how I should have done it. LOL

Cant wait. Is it a driver or work in progress?

Its a driver/work in progress haha, no interior in it except for the dash and drivers seat... 302 and a slipping c4. I have a 408w on a stand waiting for a carb and trans. Im thinking about having this shop put the engine, trans, and notch the shock towers all at the same time done in the fall. I am looking for a house right now so I need to stop spending money haha...

Hey Chris, Why the Falken logo on the windshield? Any sponsorship from them?
