ordering carpet..plush or loop..?

i was on the phone with them and i had no idea...i had to hold off until i figured this out..couple questions..what one looks better and how hard is one to clean vs the other? & is one stronger than the other?

thanks..hopefully i can get this ordered today..all i found with a search was 1 topic..and 2 people said loop when someone asked.

 

Earlier cars had loop. Yours should be cut loop/plush.

 

Your choices are either cut pile....or loop. Originally your car would have been loop. Cut pile is easier to clean (stuff can get stuck on the loop). Loop will last longer.

 

your right..cut pile or loop..had a few too many things on the brain this morning (ordered tons of stuff for the comet)
so since the loop will last longer...& it came with it i think i'll go ahead and order that, thank you both.

Cut pile is what most '74s had.

 

Had both in my car over the years... definitely prefer looped!
