    Hi all,

Names Stu. I'm the new guy in town. I'm purchasing a 1970 Ford Maverick over the next week or two. I'm really excited to make it mine. I've got a long trip (14-16 hrs or so) to get it, but it'll be worth it. I come from a family of classic American cars and now I'm happy to finally get into my own project. I can't wait to make all of your acquaintances.

    Stu

Thank you all for your welcome. I live in Hanover, MA. From what I've seen and been told, the body is nearly mint with two small patches of rot right behind each of the real wheels, under two square inches each. I'm purchasing it from aggressive1. It is the Blue Maverick in the photos. My brother has purchased parts from aggressive1 and has made the trip to North Carolina to see this "graveyard". Everything is high quality and very reasonably priced.

Again thanks for the warm welcome. Having a bit of trouble figuring out a way to get the car back to MA. I don't own a trailer, nor do I own a vehicle that I would want to tow with. I was looking at U-Haul and a trailer is $500 to rent alone. With renting a truck, total is $800. I'm rather frustrated with finding a way to haul it back. Anybody have any suggestions?

What kind of trailer are you trying to rent from U-Haul, car trailers are only $62 dollars a day around here.....

Thats an ordinary open car trailer. The catch is, it being a rent down there and a return up here. I think they jack up the prices because its a one way rental.
