Today we finish all parts before electrics..

on moday the car goes 200 kms from here to be installed all electrics,windows and stainless pipes :bananaman

then polishing,interior and ROAD!! bananaman:bananaman

I am sooo exited!! no words to describe!!

 

I can only imagine your excitement and I can hardly wait to see pictures of it finished and on the road. Your build is just absolutely beautiful

junrai, that distributor Red was really bothering me a bit ... but I already found a black cap .. soon on the screens!

 

Really nice job so far. Also keep in mind that you can easily paint distributor caps any color you'd like with a bit of prep from a medium scuff pad, denatured alcohol, and some masking tape.

And if your time spent on painting one is even close to the workmanship of the rest of that car.. the paint will far outlast the usefull life of the cap.

 

In addition, most auto parts stores sell an aerosol can of plastic adhesion promoter that you spray on before the top coat to help the paint stick to the plastic.

Great build Topolino - enjoyed following it.
It inspires me to try and stepup my game...
I am wondering why u put the engine fan on the grill side of the radiator?
I have read the puller side is more effiecient.

Mojo,I agree with you!! the problem is there is no room enough to fit in pulley side ..

I'll try that ... and if I have problems with heating, then I'll see if I find a thinner fan.. lets see...

U don't have a AC comp and aux trans cooler "blocking air" it will probably work just fine.
I hve a "16in/400mm Flex-a-lite #118/119 @ 3 3/16 thick on the puller config. It works quite well until I run the AC and idle the car for long periods in 90+ temps and it might go to 230. I built a shroud arnd it last yr to see if it will work better while standing/idle. I guess I will find out vry soon/ this week if it makes an improvement
