I have a consolette and a NOS clock to go in it. I thought I found an NOS clock feed wire, D0DZ 15A006-A, but ended up getting sent the wrong item. I need to either find the feed wire or make one up. I have never seen one. Does anyone have a picture of one or, better yet, a spare they want to sell? If you take a picture, do you mind getting me some good detailed shots and measurements? Also, does the consolette simply screw into the tunnel? Thanks, Micah
I have a harness. I can take a picture of it for you but I may not get to it for a couple of days due to work. Sorry. Hopefully that isn't an issue for you.
John, Thanks. No rush. I'm just working my way down the list of things I have to get figured out before I tear the car down and reassemble.
David, That is amazing that you actually have the instructions for the console. How did you get that? I tried to blow up the picture to read it but could not. Can you email me the full photo? Micahkev - at - pacbell.net Sucks about the mouse. I was looking at having someone make up a copy of the harness. This company already has some Maverick harnesses and I was thinking about contacting them to see if they were interested and making up a harness for the clock. http://narragansettreproductions.com/ I dont know if you are interested in a replacement since yours is damaged. If you are, maybe you could send yours in and they would have an example. Thanks, Micah
I'm not hooking mine up. From what I've seen and heard they aren't good for much. They don't keep time and are a little noisy.
I bought a do-it-yourself quartz conversion kit for the clock in my Fairlane. It was simple to do and now it keeps perfect time and is silent.
John & David, I'm still looking to get one of these made up. Any additional info or photos of the harness would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Micah
I have no excuse, I completely forgot. Sorry once again. I hate when people do that to me! I will get you a picture. I promise.
John, Thats OK. I appreciate that you are willing to do this. It is such a rare part that I cannot find one. I spoke to a restoration shop who said, if they had good photos and some measurements, they could make one up for me. Hopefully it will not be too expensive. Micah micahkev -at- pacbell.net
