got a little bit of dust in it (expected) and above the pass door a drop fell out of the gun somehow and put a little run in it but i can wet sand it out whenever i get around to it. looks pretty awesome to me. also sprayed front and rear valence's, quarter extensions and mirror's.

Thanks guys! I love the black... Wish I had a booth though.. Would have came out that much more amazing.
Will e probably spraying the rest of it Monday or so... Having a hard time finding paint to match my dash, it's that metallic black color & I looked everywhere for the charcoal black met. And can't find it, closest thing I found was GM metallic black but it's not close enough looking to the color & this small can was 14 bucks.. Anyone have ideas where I can get this color in Canada?

    Congrats! Looks good.

So, how do you feel now? I know you had some nerves before. Not that bad, right?

It was actually Nason I went with because I no longer shop at the one store due to the fact next time I go in I'll feel the need to punch them in the mouth. Got the Nason from cliff, grabber71.. He works at the napa up island from me.

The base well... Probably should have used a black sealer (thought I was gonna go orange though) but it took 5 coats of base to cover it..the base was very thin and the clear was nice, layed down 2 heavy coats and its beautiful.. Could have put a 3rd but I'm not sure if I got enough clear for 3 heavy coats on everything.

Good thing I bought lots of base :)
Other than that I should have tacked the car off between each coat instead if just after base was done.. Would have been good in a booth but my shoop was a little dusty after I cleaned everythingpiece by piece still, all in all I'm happy with it.

I used Nason single stage in my shed. Had 2-3 bugs in it and a nib in every square inch. Color sanding and buffing took it ALL out. Hope your clear is as forgiving.

Glad I could help. Now that you have done it once, the rest will be easy for you. All you needed was a little confidence builder.
