I think that is really neat! Not only is the prop rod out of your way to work under the hood, you might not bang your head as much on the latch!
Dan, I put the redline struts on my new Mustang and like the way they feel. The springs I put on the Maverick are just as smooth, the only difference is that the Maverick hood can be left open at any height and the springs do not force the hood to the wide open position like the struts do on the Mustang. A video would not do it justice you have to feel it for yourself. Maybe some people that operated it at Carlisle can chime in and give their impressions of the operation.
Cool. Yes I put struts on my mustang too. I didn't have opportunity to go to Carlisle this year like I did last year or I could have checked them out.
I can tell you, from first hand experience....they are pretty smooth, and totally awesome!! Nice job Nick!!!
I chose this spring for the length and diameter. Mustang and Cougar spring diameters are way too large to fit with my power brake booster. I am going to experiment with a 1955 Chevy spring and may try a 1956 Chevy spring.
