    My 71 mav build. Been a while since i gave any updates so here it is..

    Got it back from paint last friday and just finished waxing and buffing. if only i didnt work till sunset.. the picture might be prettier :yup:

    the 302 5L I've been putting together with my buddy's dad. fuel injected... gonna be a big step up from my 200ci inline 6 that im rolling with now..its gonna purrrrr :dance:

    77 Ghia

    just brought home a 77 granada Ghia from fresno. excited to start pulling the front discs and rear end. has a 302 that i wont be needing but ill for sure use the c4.. although the rear end is somewhat a mystery to me as to what it is exactly... it has the bulg of a 9' but im not sure about the bolt pattern on that back plate. impart your almighty wisdom upon me :thumbs2:

    Not sure what it is but it isn't a 9", they don't have a rear cover.

    yup its an 8.7... well this is a tad dissapointing.. oh well ya live and ya learn... its goin under the mav anyway.

    I think it was a 2 year only rear (for Granadas?)... maybe Bryant knows more about it. Not a very popular rear end. Why not just stick with your 8"?

    now i might except that the front will now be 5 lug and my 8" is 4 lug. maybe i could get adapters for the lug pattern but shoot.. im putting in a 302 so why not beef up the rear end? but maybe it wouldnt be a "beef up" considering the gear ratio...
