I would love to go see this show sometime but always find out about the date of the show when it is over
the show ends tonight and then they go to beaver springs dragway for the racing part of the show tomorrow Duane
Thanks but I can't make the 130 mile ride on short notice - I'll have to keep an eye out for it next year
The Fairlane Club of America is holding their National Meet there this weekend, for the second time. I would love to go the next time it rotates there, but it probably won't be for 5 years or so. Everything I have heard about it is awesome.
I was at both shows yesterday, used to be a FCA member... Makes for a long day when you leave home at 5AM and get back at midnight...
Guys, head up to Maryland Intl. raceway(Buddscreek) the 14 & 15 of september, should be close to at least 50 high revving stick cars showing up to run. They are asking the Gear Jammers from NC,the Stick Shift championship series, and the Manual Trans United drivers from up in NewEngland to come.If a lot of them make it,should be fun.I`ve always wanted to catch one of the races up in Penn. but never seem to make it.
I had planned on going to the reunion, it's about a 10 minute drive for me. Weather report kept saying there would be thunder storms between 12 and 2. When the storms didn't happen I was pi$$ed that I didn't go in. Always a great show. Did get to see a lot of the Fairlanes, though, they hit a bunch of the local car shows.
my brother runs an NHRA stock eliminator 68 firebird D/S stick car, he will be at the US Nationals just before that, but I will tell him, maybe he will go down. Duane
