went to the York 30 Dragway reunion show yesterday, saw a a lot of old racecars, there were 3 mavericks, the Arlen Fadley Super Stock Magazine car, the Dyno Don Maverick, and a Maverick that was a bracket race Super gas, super pro car that started its life as a pro Stock named Dixie Something, gotta look at my pics to the correct name. but I think ive seen pics of the car when it was a pro stock.

    cool show

Thanks but I can't make the 130 mile ride on short notice - I'll have to keep an eye out for it next year (y)

The Fairlane Club of America is holding their National Meet there this weekend, for the second time. I would love to go the next time it rotates there, but it probably won't be for 5 years or so.

Everything I have heard about it is awesome.

Makes for a long day when you leave home at 5AM and get back at midnight...

Guys, head up to Maryland Intl. raceway(Buddscreek) the 14 & 15 of september, should be close to at least 50 high revving stick cars showing up to run. They are asking the Gear Jammers from NC,the Stick Shift championship series, and the Manual Trans United drivers from up in NewEngland to come.If a lot of them make it,should be fun.I`ve always wanted to catch one of the races up in Penn. but never seem to make it.

I had planned on going to the reunion, it's about a 10 minute drive for me. Weather report kept saying there would be thunder storms between 12 and 2. When the storms didn't happen I was pi$$ed that I didn't go in. Always a great show. Did get to see a lot of the Fairlanes, though, they hit a bunch of the local car shows.
