We made it home about 5 pm. We opted for the long week by arriving on Monday and it went by fast. Had a great time as always. I think my kids had even more fun. It was fun watching the small and big kids playing baseball on the Field of Dreams. The river museum and the 4th street elevator was great as well. Had a beautiful day and very nice park for the show. Got to meet several new people and I apologize to those I missed as well. The rest of the park visitors seemed to enjoythe parade of cars. The weather was a little warm a couple of days, but that is to be expected in July. The little bit of rain was well timed. We had some nice cool breezes at night for the Gatherings in the parking lot. I say it was another very successful Gathering! Thanks to Jack Grice and the entire Grice family for a job well done.
Everett, It was great to meet you. Thank you for the ride and I'm not surprised you had a great time as well. The MCG is a very friendly and welcoming club and probably the best kept secret around but..... the secret is getting out. Really enjoyed dinner sat night. Hope to see you at many more.
I must say Ward, you are quite the charcter "life of the party". I hope be able to make future events. It wud be remiss, if I did'nt also give "KUDO'S" to Don & Ruth for their hard work and sweat to make this event --a winner. It had been relayed to me by a few people on the forum "the folks at the Gatherings" are a great group. They were right on target. I can pass that on to people who have intrest in our type vechicles. I know a few folks in my area who might be persuaded to attend if the event is in one of the states mentioned at the meeting - "the one I almost missed".
Oh yea, that's how it starts and then he gets you in trouble! I was squeaky clean until I started hanging around Ward. He's nuthin' but trouble.
your ALL a bunch of trouble makers that try and act innocent! and all this time , ya'll thought I was the bad one I missed the meeting too,..... oh wait, that was for members. so I'm good
