Just recently I have been having an issue with leaking power steering fluid(actually tranny fluid) and it got really bad. My buddy took it apart and it looks like the control valve is the problem. Actually, the round piece that the ball stud fits into has a good chunk broken off. Does anybody know what that piece is called? Does it come in a rebuild kit? Maybe I should start a new thread.:hmmm:

Are you talking about the dust shield, or the ball stud socket.........both are inside the valve sleeve?
I know for a early Mustang you can buy the ball and stud rebuild kit and you can also by a new valve sleeve....................at least you used to be able to.

After doing some investigation, I believe it is the dust shield. It is included in most of the kits I just looked up. Now, to find out if any certain brand is better than others(AC Delco, Edelmann, Gates). From the pictures that are posted, they all look exactly the same.

I got the pedals hanging for my t5 swap. I ended up having to swap the pedal support because they were different. Now I gotta find where the pedal rod goes through the firewall. I don't see a knock out anywhere.

I'd really like to have the wing because it looks really great..........but the truth is on our Mavericks it's really not needed until you are 150mph+
Scott sent me a picture but it was a prototype, I'll see if I can find it.

Finished repainting my rear inside quarter panels, finally removed the bottom and back sections of the quarter window trim... lost some screws for the rear window bottom trim... now I'm trying to decide what to do next and what I'm trying to accomplish...

Ran it out of gas adjusting the valves, good reason to put that non ethanol Premium fuel I have in it now.
Ok it's now 7:34 am and I have gotten the valves adjusted, it runs great!

Today I'm finishing pulling the cowl cutting out metal to repair under the battery tray and driver side floor board.

Had a blast at Pull-a-Part. Glad to have someone new to blame when looking for the tool I had a minute ago goes missing. :D
