Put transmission fluid in the transmission in preparation of hopefully starting things up here soon. Realized on the 5th quart that I forgot to install the speedometer gear/cable back in the transmission.

This would be a whole lot easier if I knew what I was doing.

Went into the garage and stared at my quarter panels. Man I dread this part. I hate butt welding sheet metal.

Got the steering column and package tray back where they belong. I got all my ducks in a roll for the C4 to a T5 swap next Monday...I hope. Driveshaft length is the only thing I'm not sure of.

I've got a ways to go before I'm ready to start welding. I have 2 quarter sections cut off of parts cars. I guess I'll cut the spot welds and remove the outer skins first. I think they'll be easier to weld in that way.

Here's some motivation. 5 hrs work in less than 2 minutes.

Ok, so when you are done with the Stang..................just head on over this way.
After working with a bunch of great guys in Oregon the past week and a half it's really a downer to have to go it alone again..................I need to get out to the garage and get started.

Pulled the bench seat out and slipped in the buckets my brother gave me along with the Torino console. Turns out the console is a bit too big, it's against the back seat in this picture and it sits up quite a bit. I'll look it over for a while and decide what I want to do. I hate cutting on original parts so I may just resell it and keep looking for alternatives.
